I enjoy being active (running, water/snow skiing, paddle boarding, hiking), painting, and traveling any and everywhere!

In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy watching Turkish television dramas. I’m mildly obsessed.


The most “Atlanta” thing I’ve done in the past month was attending my first soccer match at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium!


In 10 years my dream job would be I don’t have the title in mind, but I definitely want to be doing something that is dynamic and creative, allows me to mentor others, involves international travel, and is making a noticeable positive impact on the community.

I enjoy the trips and volunteer opportunities through JROTC and listening to music – although a lot of the current stuff is repetitive. Instead of talking about the same stuff (drugs and violence), I want to talk about new, positive things. I’m not sure what college I want to go to, but one that is good in academics and where I can major in mechanical engineering or music production.

The funniest thing that happened to me recently was my family playing a prank on me. My cousins and siblings texted me saying that my Dad cut an extra key for the truck. I almost cried when I saw them and realized that I had got got!  


I got paid $7.50/hour working at a fast food joint.


In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy writing poetry.

I’m in the Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) program. We’re such a close-knit family and all have similar goals. I want to pursue my MD and PhD after college. Being a physician allows me to be on the cutting edge of research, while also experiencing the clinical side of medicine. My end game? I want to be a practicing physician while still owning my own lab.

I’m a transportation engineer and planner that works with transportation agencies to plan and design improvements to make travel easier and safer for people and goods. This includes working with agencies like MARTA to plan new bus routes, and re-timing traffic signals so you don’t have to wait as long. I spend my free time people watching in Piedmont Park,  playing kickball and dabbling in photography at the airport.
