Anta, 20 —
College Junior, 20
I’m co-founder and chief of staff of LYTEHouse (Lifting Youth Through Enrichment), a student organization that I started with three of my Morehouse brothers. LYTEHouse helps freshman students in their transition from high school to college by pairing them with upperclassmen with their same major. I love being able to build community on campus, while advancing personal and academic achievement. After graduation, I want to become a political journalist and share the stories of communities and people who are disadvantaged.

Who Am I?
My friends from High School would probably describe me as an overachiever, book worm.
The last TV Show I watched was Power.
The funniest thing that happened to me recently was I woke up in a flux thinking I was late for an event. Rushed to get ready and sped off to campus only to find out that the event had been cancelled.
I got paid $4/hour tutoring freshman in high school as a junior in high school.
In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy meditation.
The most “Atlanta” thing I’ve done in the past month was eat at American Deli!
In 10 years my dream job would be a Political Correspondent for CNN.
