www.tribe-talk.com is an online platform (hereinafter “TribeTalk”) for mentoring and knowledge sharing. The Platform is intended for individual users or members (hereinafter “YOUTH” for users under 18 years of age or “MENTOR” for users 18 years and older).
Under the Service, we make available to You a variety of tools that allow You to meet students and professionals, exchange information and perspectives, access content, share knowledge, make decisions from building trusted relationships with individuals or groups of individuals. For example, You can share information about your name, professional history, academic history, accomplishments, work experience, areas of interest, blogs and websites You manage or wish to refer to, preferences to connect and communicate with other Youth and/or Mentors. You may also find Youth who share Your interests and goals, and begin to communicate with them, either privately or in public discussion forums. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the number of features and tools made available to You to facilitate Your professional growth, may vary at our sole discretion, and We do not make any representation that a particular feature or tool will be available at any given time.
Limitation of TribeTalk’s liability
IN NO EVENT WILL TRIBETALK, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, CONTENT AND USER ACTIVITY WHETHER THE DAMAGES ARE FORESEEABLE AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE FOREGOING LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IN THE APPLICABLE JURISDICTION.
Www.Tribe-talk.com, or TribeTalk as an entity, (hereinafter “TRIBETALK”) is an informational, mobile friendly, Web application that, among other services, allows independent Mentors (“Mentors”) to list their information on a platform in order to create a resource for those seeking mentoring opportunities. TribeTalk information available through Tribe-talk.com may contain features and functionalities that may link or provide access to independent third parties, such as various mentors. These links do not imply TRIBETALK’s endorsement or sponsorship of such third parties.
Underage Youth account creation and usage
No one under the age of 13 is allowed to create an account or use TribeTalk services. TribeTalk is not liable for any minor under the age of 13 who creates an account using a false Date of Birth in order to access the website, platform or any of its services.
Independence of Mentors
Mentors are independent of TRIBETALK. Each mentor is responsible for establishing interactions with youth.
Mentors are responsible for evaluating and investigating whether they are safe and appropriate before proceeding with any interaction or participation with any Youth.
Mentors are responsible for the truth and accuracy of any information they submit to TRIBETALK and for timely updating of any changes to their information.
Registration for listing as a Mentor on TribeTalk
By registering yourself on TribeTalk, you certify that:
(a) you are a legitimate Mentor that provides guidance, support, and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of youth users;
(b) you have not committed any crime against a minor, including child abuse, sexual acts, and pornography;
(c) you will not use TRIBETALK’s services or Website, or your program, to harm a minor or Youth in any way;
(d) you understand that TRIBETALK strongly encourages screening of Mentors, and you are solely liable to ensure the safety and well-being of youth associated with the Mentoring Organization;
(e) you are responsible for determining whether you are fit to serve as a mentor; and
(f) you understand that TRIBETALK makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of Mentors or their compatibility with any current or future programs.
Seeking mentoring opportunities
By using TRIBETALK you attest that you have gone through an established mentoring organization to receive a unique id to sign-up on the platform and serve as a mentor. If you pursue any additional mentoring opportunities with Youth, outside the use of TribeTalk, you certify that:
(a) you have a legitimate interest in providing guidance, support, and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the youth;
(b) you have not committed any crime against a minor, including child abuse, sexual acts, and pornography;
(c) you will not use TRIBETALK’s services or Website, or any program to harm a Youth in any way;
(d) you understand that you will be subject to whatever screening is required by TribeTalk or the mentoring organization, which may include inquiries into your background;
(e) TribeTalk does not guarantee your acceptance to be a part of the mentoring organization’s projects, as such decisions are made by the Youth and the organization;
(f) you understand that TribeTalk makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of other Mentors;
(g) it is your sole responsibility to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other Mentors or Youth, including young people, you meet through TribeTalk;
(h) you will act in the furtherance of the objectives of TribeTalk, and you will not partake in any activities that are of detriment to TribeTalk, the youth it serves, or to its objectives; and
(i) you will represent your identity, skills and background accurately in TribeTalk and with any partner mentoring organization.
Disclaimer of Liability
You agree that there is no confidential or any other special relationship that is or should be formed by use of TribeTalk or information contained on the Website.
TribeTalk expressly denies liability and undertakes no responsibility for the conduct of the Mentors or individuals working with the Mentors that are listed on the TribeTalk Website and platform. While TribeTalk is not obligated to do so, TribeTalk reserves the right to screen or conduct background checks on any individuals or Mentoring Organizations registered with the TribeTalk Website.
You agree that you bear all risks associated with the use of any information on TribeTalk and any interactions with Youth found through TribeTalk.
In the event anyone is harmed in any way by TribeTalk’s service, you hereby release the latter, its officers, employees, agents and successors in rights from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind or nature, known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way related to such disputes and/or TribeTalk’s service.
TribeTalk reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject or approve any registration for inclusion on its platform, for any or no reason. TribeTalk does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, sexual orientation, sex, or national origin.
TribeTalk reserves the right to remove any information posted on its platform and Website at any time, at its sole discretion. TRIBETALK is not liable for any damage or losses, financial or otherwise, that result from removal of information from the TribeTalk Website, or from information posted on the TribeTalk Website by third parties.
Anyone who registers to use the TribeTalk Website and services is solely liable for the use of their password and account that TribeTalk may provide him. Use of TribeTalk to advertise commercial products or services, or to gather contact information for commercial purposes is prohibited. TribeTalk reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user’s account or to refuse any current or future use of TribeTalk or services.
The TribeTalk Website may provide interactive features that permit users to provide feedback to TribeTalk and interact with other users. Each user is responsible for the content of their posts on community areas of the TribeTalk Website such as content feeds, bulletin boards, forums, and chat rooms. TribeTalk is not responsible for the accuracy or integrity of third party content and is not liable for any damages of any kind caused by any message in the community. TribeTalk has no obligation to monitor any community areas of the Website or platform, but reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion. TribeTalk reserves the right to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request.
It is a condition of using the TribeTalk Website and services that you do not:

(d) use TribeTalk or its services to post or transmit any information, software or other material that contains a virus or other harmful component;
(e) use TribeTalk or its services to post, transmit or in any way exploit any information, software or other material for commercial or advertising purposes;

Hyperlinks to the TribeTalk may not state or imply any TribeTalk sponsorship or endorsement of another Website, publication, or service. TribeTalk’s content may not be incorporated into another Website, publication, or service without TribeTalk’s prior written approval.
From time-to-time, TribeTalk requests information from Mentors and Youth via surveys. Survey information will be used for the purpose of evaluating the TribeTalk and its services. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. If a Mentor or Youth does not respond to a survey, however, TribeTalk may contact the User via email to follow up.
Collection of Information
TribeTalk may collect the following kinds of information when you, or other Youth or Mentors, access TribeTalk.
Customer Data. Through use of TribeTalk, you, or other Youth or Mentors, will directly provide or submit information to TribeTalk (“Customer Data”). Customer Data includes, for example:
- Contact information, such as full name, email address, phone number;
- Demographic information;
- Username and password;
- Work title, department information, and other information related to your work or Organization;
- All content that you create, share or post in audio, video, text, images, and other media or software files that you provide on or through TribeTalk, or that are provided on your behalf, including information in or about the content you provide, such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created;
- Information other Youth or Mentors provide about you when using TribeTalk, including when they send a message to you or upload information about you;
- All communications with other Youth and Mentors on TribeTalk;
- User communications, feedback, suggestions, and ideas sent to us;
TribeTalk undertakes commercially reasonable precautions to protect User’s Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Despite these precautions, resolute hackers may wrongfully gain access to your Personal Information. Although such unauthorized access is unlikely, TribeTalk informs Users here of this risk and advise Users that TribeTalk is not liable for any damages caused by such unauthorized access.
