I’m a certified public accountant (CPA) and provide auditing and accounting advisory services to privately-owned companies across different industries. I’m also on the Georgia State Board of Accountancy where I, along with six other board members, oversee and regulate CPAs and CPA firms licensed in the state of Georgia. I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, golfing, boating, and University of Georgia sporting events. Go Dawgs!

My friends from High School would probably describe me as an athlete.


The last TV Show I watched was VEEP.


The funniest thing that happened to me recently was my friend’s 4-year-old doesn’t know the difference between “father” and “husband” and kept referring to me as Andrea’s (my wife) dad.


I got paid $5/hour working as an assistant baseball coach for a summer camp.


In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy yard work.


The most “Atlanta” thing I’ve done in the past month was seeing Atlanta United and Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the same week.


In 10 years my dream job would be Managing Partner of Frazier & Deeter or a Professional Golfer (which is certainly a dream!).

I’m co-founder and chief of staff of LYTEHouse (Lifting Youth Through Enrichment), a student organization that I started with three of my Morehouse brothers. LYTEHouse helps freshman students in their transition from high school to college by pairing them with upperclassmen with their same major. I love being able to build community on campus, while advancing personal and academic achievement. After graduation, I want to become a political journalist and share the stories of communities and people who are disadvantaged.

The funniest thing that happened to me recently was I woke up in a flux thinking I was late for an event. Rushed to get ready and sped off to campus only to find out that the event had been cancelled. 


I got paid $4/hour tutoring freshman in high school as a junior in high school.


In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy meditation.


The most “Atlanta” thing I’ve done in the past month was eat at American Deli!

In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy irresponsibly binging Netflix shows. More recently Ozark, but some House of Cards for sure.


The most “Atlanta” thing I’ve done in the past month was eating at Mrs. Winners. I actually parked, ordered and ate inside. LOL. No one ever eats inside!


In 10 years my dream job would be serving Atlanta as Councilman Clay.

I enjoy the trips and volunteer opportunities through JROTC and listening to music – although a lot of the current stuff is repetitive. Instead of talking about the same stuff (drugs and violence), I want to talk about new, positive things. I’m not sure what college I want to go to, but one that is good in academics and where I can major in mechanical engineering or music production.

I’m in the Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) program. We’re such a close-knit family and all have similar goals. I want to pursue my MD and PhD after college. Being a physician allows me to be on the cutting edge of research, while also experiencing the clinical side of medicine. My end game?
