Phillip, 29

Phillip, 29 — Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer, WSP

I’m a transportation engineer and planner that works with transportation agencies to plan and design improvements to make travel easier and safer for people and goods. This includes working with agencies like MARTA to plan new bus routes, and re-timing traffic signals so you don’t have to wait as long. I spend my free time people watching in Piedmont Park,  playing kickball and dabbling in photography at the airport.

Who Am I?

My friends from High School would probably describe me as an overachiever, book worm.

The last TV Show I watched was Insecure.

The funniest thing that happened to me recently was a deer surprising the hell out of me outside of our cabin at my bachelor party.

I got paid $8.50/hour as an usher at an event center in my hometown.

In my free time, my friends would be surprised to learn that I enjoy plane spotting at the airport.

The most “Atlanta” thing I’ve done in the past month was screaming rap lyrics from my car with high school friends in a parking lot.

In 10 years my dream job would be Career Counselor for an Engineering Department at a University.
